Never Too Late was inspired by a couple I met at a wedding last year. They sat across from Lesley and I told us about their falling in love later in life. They were both middle aged and had recently married. They also had great names, Rocky and Mary Lou, and I promised them I would write a song for them. Never Too Late is that song. I never had a way to send it to them, so I hope the universe delivers it to them somehow. This song is later in the album and shows how love can fade and then find a renewed energy later in life. Nothing is permanent and love never dies, but it does ebb and flow.
