I wrote this song with Claire Kelly in Nashville. We write just about every week and have a new theme prompt each time we write. We Are Finally Here was based on moving forward and finding a place of contentment. The beauty of songs is that they keep on giving new insight and this one has enough ambiguity that it continues to shed new light on it's meaning each time I play it.
