This song was written before I moved to Nashville and it is one of the older songs on the record. It was inspired by the idea that all passions and dreams start from simply loving what you do. The character is talking with another person, perhaps her dad, who doubts her dreams, but then realizes how far she has gone and changes his pre-conceptions about following your dreams and the belief that it sacrifices stability and security.
